SAAB 9-3 Sportsedan Bodykit
This bodykit for the SAAB 9-3 Sportsedan (2003-2007) was commissioned by a tuning company, a-zperformance, specialized in the SAAB brand. During their work they had many requests for body elements, but they have found that there are no such kits on the market.
During the design phase we wanted to keep the design language close to the original sporty and elegant style, while an important aim was to incorporate the aerodynamic solutions used nowadays. The result is a bodykit that bonds perfectly with the rest of the car's design, however it is slightly more sporty compared to the factory elements. Besides it is also fully functional, since it improves the airfolw for the higher power output, improving both the airflow to the coolers and also the aerodynamic efficiency around the front and rear bumpers. On the front the enlarged cooling intakes and the airflow separating edges improve the airflow, while on the rear a small hidden diffuser adds to the overall efficiency. The bodykit is available in different versions, fog lamps can be incorporated in the front bumper, and a special "race" front splitter can be added separately to further improve the aerodynamics and the looks of the car with the bodykit on.

Ez a bodykit a SAAB 9-3 Sportsedan (2003-2007) típushoz készült, a márkára specializálódott tuningcég, az A-Zperformance megbízásából, mivel a megbízó eddigi ismereti alapján szinte nem létezik hasonló karosszéria csomag a típusra, holott igény mutatkozna rá.
A tervezés során a fő irányvonalak a SAAB márkára jellemző sportosan elegáns stílus megtartása, illetve az azóta előtérbe került aerodinamikai megoldások integrálása jelentette. Ennek megfelelően a végeredmény egy olyan szett, amely formájában tökéletesen illeszkedik az eredeti autóhoz, de a gyári megoldásoknál jobban hangsúlyozott sportos megoldásokat vonultat fel. Ezzel együtt azonban funkciójában is kiemelkedik, hiszen mind az első, mind a hátsó lökhárító a nagyobb teljesítményhez lett optimalizálva, a hűtés és az aerodinamikai hatékonyság is magasabb szintű a gyári elemekhez képest. Az első lökhárítón a nagyobb méretű hűtőnyílások, és a légáramlást leválasztó élek teszik hatékonnyá a légáramlást, míg a hátsó lökhárító esetében egy kis "rejtett" diffúzor is segíti az aerodinamikai hatékonyságot. A bodykit több verzióban is elérhető, ködlámpa is integrálható az első lökhárítóba, valamint egy külön felszerelhető "race" első splitter tovább javítja az aerodinamikát és a kinézetét a bodykittel szerelt autónak.
